The state is working with local, state, federal, and tribal agencies to battle several wildfires, and you can help communities by using these resources to support fire relief efforts.
Donate to Fire Relief
Help our neighbors across New Mexico who have been affected by recent wildfire disasters. Grants from the All Together NM Fund will go to emergency shelter, food and water distribution, and access to medical support.
Donate to the Laguna Community Foundation or drop off deliveries to the Pueblo of Cochiti checkpoint located across from the Pueblo Visitor Center in Cochiti, NM.
Community Resiliency Fund Donation
Help our neighbors in Mora and San Miguel Counties who have been affected by recent wildfire disasters. Grants from the Resiliency Fund will go to emergency shelter and lodging, food and water distribution, and other critical services. Donations are 100% tax-deductible.
Support The Food Depot’s Disaster Relief Fund by donating money, food, water and hygiene items to provide relief to wildfire-impacted communities and emergency responders in Northern New Mexico.
Las Vegas New Mexico Community Foundation
Generous donors from around the state and nation have been contributing to the Hermit’s Peak Wildfire Relief Fund started on April 24 by the Las Vegas New Mexico Community Foundation.
New Mexico Fire Relief Emergency Response Fund
The New Mexico Fire Relief Emergency Response Fund was established to provide relief to residents evicted by the destructive fire in New Mexico. Community partners include Albuquerque Community Foundation, Meta Los Lunas Data Center, Nusenda, PNM Resources Foundation, Rio Grande Credit Union, Sandia National Labs, United Way of Central New Mexico and Western Sky Community Care.

Low-interest federal disaster loans are available to NM businesses and residents as a result of President Biden’s major disaster declaration. The declaration covers Colfax, Lincoln, Mora, San Miguel and Valencia counties. SBA Federal Low Interest Disaster Loan program offers Business Physical Disaster Loans, Economic Injury Disaster Loans, Home Disaster Loans.

USDA Offers Disaster Assistance to New Mexico Farmers and Livestock Producers Impacted by Wildfires and Drought
Presidential Disaster Declaration Signed
Residents and business owners who sustained losses in the designated counties can apply for assistance at DisasterAssistance.gov or 1-800-621-FEMA(3362) or 1-800-462-7585 (TTY) for the hearing and speech impaired. The toll-free telephone numbers operate from 7am-10 pm seven days a week until further notice.
