The New Mexico Community Economic Development toolbox was developed by New Mexico MainStreet in an effort to provide a comprehensive listing of information relating to community economic development. The toolbox provides a variety of material including available funding sources, contact information for government and non-profit groups, referral information to other relevant groups, case studies/best practices, and statistical data. This valuable resource is made available free of cost to all interested parties. We hope the material included will be of assistance to all New Mexico community economic development practitioners in furthering their knowledge base and assisting in their decision-making process for the future of their communities.
About the Toolbox
Funding for this project has been provided by a grant from the McCune Charitable Foundation. Format, material, and tools have been developed by the New Mexico Rural Development Response Council with assistance from New Mexico MainStreet Program consultants. Some of the information included on this website was compiled by Regional Representative Kathy McCormick for the publication "Energizing Your Local Economy" which is produced by the New Mexico Economic Development Department.
